about me

I grew up Illinois with my parents, brother, and two pups. My mom always knew I'd be a professional creative due to my fascination with magazines, crafting doll outfits our of unconventional material, and being the kid that makes a group project look as thought out as the actual information. I took her words to heart and went on to earn a Graphic Design BFA and Advertising minor from Western Michigan University ( I graduated in 2017 ). During my time at WMU I held internships (design, marketing, and social media), performed as a member of the WMU Bronco Colorguard, and captured musical moments as a videographer for the WMU Bronco Marching Band.

My design career started in high school but my professional career started in 2014 when I freelanced for a racecar company. Since then I've worked with event planners, musical groups, business owners, and my mom (my best client). As of April 2018 I stopped freelancing to focus on my full time position. Currently, I am a political graphic designer creating Democratic campaign mail in DC. I am a strong supporter of intersectionality and actively learn more about social justice every day.

The world of politics keeps me busy but I love to unwind with Marvel movies, makeup tutorials, collage, and watching soccer (USWNT and Real Madrid).

Thank you for taking the time to look through my portfolio and for reading my bio. I hoped you enjoyed the content and feel free to connect with me below.
